Two out-of-state men were arrested for allegedly trafficking cannabis in Grundy County.

The Illinois State Police said a trooper stopped a vehicle operated by Keyron Hoffman, 43, of Reading, Pennsylvania after a traffic violation on Interstate 80 eastbound lanes at the Minooka exit around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6th.

Hoffman and a passenger in the vehicle, Damon McGriff, 46, of Bethelem, Pennsylvania were arrested for cannabis trafficking.

Police officials say the two men were allegedly trafficking 39 pounds of cannabis, which has an estimated street value of $200,000.

Both men were transported to the Grundy County Jail and the investigation is ongoing.
