“I think vaping has become so commonplace,” Higgins said. “Now, we’ve been so focused on political agendas and politics, that it’s kind of gotten — even though it’s an epidemic itself — between COVID, the pandemic, and then the politics that have been going on and the election and all that, vaping has been one of those things that got lost in the shuffle. I think it’s really scary that we have an epidemic going on that’s going to affect so many youth and their long-term health, and we’re not paying attention, we’re not focusing on it and protecting our kids. We need to protect our kids.”
