Kansas City Cannabis Company LLC., winner of four Missouri medical marijuana dispensary licenses, announced that construction will begin on their Lake Lotawana facility at 9322 S 7 Hwy on Saturday, October 10th. Though closed to the public, employees, friends & family and members of the media will be invited to witness the start of demolition for the company’s second dispensary facility. Almost two years after the citizens of Missouri voted yes on Amendment 2, Missouri is finally seeing progress towards a functional medical cannabis market.

The new dispensary will occupy the location formerly operated by Russo’s Pizza, just North of the intersection at 7 Highway and Colbern Road and will feature a full line of medical cannabis products, educational and health & wellness resources as well as telemedicine offerings to help Missouri medical marijuana patients find the products best suited for their particular needs.

Of the company’s second successful construction launch, CEO Kevin Stallings said, “The patients of Missouri have been waiting long enough for access to the medicinal marijuana products they voted for. We are extremely excited to be taking the next steps towards fulfilling their wishes and providing these much-needed medications.”
