Cops find massive £32k haul of cannabis plants in raid of Scots home – Daily Record

Two people have been arrested after police found £32,000 worth of cannabis plants at a house in Stirlingshire. Officers raided the property on Duke Street, Denny, at around 2.25pm on Monday before making the major discovery. Cops also found additional Class A and C drugs at the property during the search which they described as a ‘significant recovery’. The Scottish Medicines Consortium has announced that Epidyolex will be the first cannabis-based medicine to be approved for use on the NHS. The CBD-based drug is used to treat rare forms of treatment-resistant epilepsy in children. A cannabis-based medicine has been approved for use on the NHS to treat two rare forms of epilepsy. The Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) has approved Epidyolex for Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome, types of epilepsy that can have a severe impact on children.
