Oklahoma Selects Metrc Tracking

The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority announced a partnership with Metric to track their state’s cannabis products. Oklahoma marks the 14th state and the District of Columbia to utilize Metrc reporting. The press release said Metrc reporting will “ensure accountability and safety within the state’s medical marijuana industry”. Metrc will be required for all cannabis business licensees to remain compliant with Oklahoma. The state’s “track-and-trace” from “seed-to-sale” program prevents discrepancies and ensures a safe and complete removal of products in the event of a recall. Demeter Laboratory will represent the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority by making sure other labs are following state rules and regulations.
