A proposed bill in the Minnesota state senate would make it legal for medical cannabis patients in the state to use marijuana flower for treatment. The legislation cleared its first hurdle earlier this month, with the bill getting passed out of the Senate Health and Human Services Finance and Policy Committee on March 1. According to local television station KSTP, current law in Minnesota only allows medical cannabis to be distributed in pill or liquid form. Minnesota is still pushing for legalization and planning to try again during this legislative session, although they are still facing some resistance from the state Senate.  “Public support is growing for legalizing and expunging criminal records for cannabis,” House Majority Leader Ryan Winkler said regarding the new, proposed legislation. 75,000 THC vaping cartridges seized in Minnesota – RADIO.COM

Authorities in Anoka County on Monday seized 75,000 illicit THC vaping cartridges which they believe came from from out of state in order to be distributed across Minnesota. Investigators announced the seizure on Tuesday. The seizure comes as hospitals across the country and in Minnesota have recently reported hospitalizations and deaths linked to vaping. US: Minnesota Raises The Tobacco Age Limit to 21 – Vaping Post

Last December, the federal government increased the tobacco age limit from 18 to 21. To this effect, Minnesota’s legislators are hoping that implementing the same law statewide should clear up confusion among retailers, said Laura Smith, senior public affairs manager with ClearWay Minnesota, a nonprofit working to reduce tobacco use.
