Oregon and many other legal states have a similar problem–According to this article, Canada has 506 producer licenses…Oregon alone has over 1200, and that is NOT counting retail licenses. This is why few people pay more than $100 and ounce for mids and no more than $150 for top shelf. Some shops try to sell ounces for over $200, but those shops suck ass and all eventually fail. Right now, it is a buyers market, but with the fires and the environment and new legal markets opening, the business itself could change rapidly. I guess we will see.
