1. Make a stonerific garland

While you can certainly create your own holiday garland using some faux pine, why not do something different this holiday season and add a stoner touch? Get some faux pot leaves and string them together. Add dried fruit or bits of tinsel to make it pop.

2. Bake “special” holiday cookies

Bake some infused cookies using cannabutter. Use cookie cutters to cut them into fun holiday shapes. Give some as presents to friends and family (make sure to let them know they’re infused!) or make a batch for yourself to enjoy.

3. Watch holiday stoner movies

Check out stoner movies that center around the holidays, like “A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas.” Can’t find others to watch? Just gather up your special holiday cookies and cozy up to some other stoner movies, such as the classic “Up in Smoke.”

4. Make a Christmas tree

Not into having a tree you have to decorate this year? No worries. Think outside the box by creating a tree shape out of stoner items you already have, such as blunt wrap wrappers or faux pot leaves. Arrange them in a tree shape on a blank wall.

5. Add holiday cheer to your front door

Hang a holiday wreath made from faux pot leaves. You can buy one online, or simply make your own. Show the neighbors you’re a proud stoner with holiday spirit.

6. Make your own hot chocolate

And then add a water-soluble cannabis tincture to your hot chocolate, such as Green Revolution’s Relief 1000 AM. What better way to enjoy your hot cocoa than with a bit of a kick?

7. Play Secret Santa with friends

If you have a large group of stoner friends, Secret Santa is the perfect way to give weed gifts without breaking the bank. Most Secret Santa games set a spending limit, so you can find affordable holiday gifts or DIY something thoughtful and tailored to the person for whom you are buying. Dress up solid paper with faux pot leaves, or purchase pot leaf wrapping paper.

8. Try a new dessert edible

The holidays are the perfect time to try out some new treats. Indulge in something decadent and cannabis-infused, such as Verdelux’s Caramel Honey Bon Bombs. These are a delicious blend of brown sugar, butter, honey, and cream that was reduced over a low heat to perfection and then dipped in dark chocolate and topped with Kosher salt.

9. Get stoney by the tree

Gather up your weed and favorite bong, and cozy up by the soft glow of twinkling lights as you smoke. Seshing doesn’t get much more festive than that!

10. Make an advent calendar

Haven’t bought an advent calendar yet? Then you have the perfect reason to make one. The concept is easy: Simply string together some medtainers or gram bags, fill them with a gram of different strains (one for each day), and hang them up like a garland. Each morning, wake and bake with the strain that corresponds to the day.

11. Have a smoke sesh slumber party

And have everyone sleep under the Christmas tree. Because nothing is quite like staring up at the fairy lights on your tree, snuggled up warmly inside a sleeping bag.

12. Decorate a gingerbread house — and then smoke out of it

Gather up the supplies you need to create your gingerbread house. Once you’ve made it, turn it into a bong. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Assemble the walls of the gingerbread house.

Step 2: Create the holes in your roof for your mouthpiece and downstem. The most ideal spot is in the middle, but you can put these anywhere you like. Make sure the holes are a tight fit. The mouthpiece should be on one slab of the roof, and the downstem should be coming out of the other slab, opposite one another.

Step 3: Insert the downstem into the hole you made, sealing around the hole with icing.

Step 4: Attach the roof to the walls, using a generous amount of icing to ensure the house is sealed.

Step 5: Wait for the icing to harden.

Step 6: Decorate the gingerbread house.

Step 7: Put your bowl in the downstem, fill it up with your favorite strain, and get to smoking!

If you are still unsure how to create your gingerbread house bong, there are tons of photo and video tutorials available online.

13. Build a stoner snowman

Build a snowman in your yard, and put a carrot in his mouth for a blunt and a weed beanie on its head. It will be fun to do, and showcases your love of the smoke.

14. Make salt dough ornaments

Create salt dough and cut it into fun stoner shapes, such as pot leaves. To create your these, combine 4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 cup salt, and 1 ½ cups of warm water into a bowl. Knead the dough until it’s firm and smooth. Roll out the dough and cut the shapes. Use a straw or skewer to poke a hole for hanging on the tree. Bake the ornaments at 300 degrees F until dry, about 1 hour. Let them cool completely before decorating and hanging.

15. Head to a local Christmas tree farm

If you’ve never had a real Christmas tree, we suggest you try it this year. After all, there are so many great places to check out — and the entire experience can make for a fun outing. Make the trip even more fun by enjoying some edibles while you’re out finding that perfect tree for your home.

16. Host an ugly holiday sweater sesh

Gather up your friends – and a bunch of weed – for an ugly holiday sweater sesh, so everyone can show off their hilarious finds.

17. Virtually sesh with an out-of-town relative or friend

Miss your friends and family this holiday season? Have a smoke sesh with them over video chat! It’s the perfect way to get to see and blaze with them despite the distance.

18. Make infused S’mores in the fireplace

You don’t need a campfire or a fire pit to have S’mores! Take advantage of the snowy day and stay inside to roast your marshmallow in the fireplace. Use cannabis-infused chocolate bars, such as The 4.20 Bar’s 4.20 Minis Milk Chocolate Bars

19. Go to a tree-lighting ceremony

There’s no better way to launch the holiday season than by attending a small tree-lighting ceremony. Find one in your area, gather up your edibles, and head out to watch the tree being lit. Just don’t forget your mask!

20. Open one gift on Christmas Eve

Don your coziest Christmas pajamas, load up the bong, and open one gift on Christmas Eve while you smoke. This is a fun tradition to follow, and makes the excitement of Christmas morning even greater.
